The WI needed a miraculous effort to stay alive, but their second innings followed a similar pattern. Once again, Siraj and Jadeja proved too good for the batters. Siraj’s pace and Jadeja’s spin combined to destroy the middle order, while Kuldeep chipped in with two late wickets. Jadeja was the chief architect, taking 4 for 54, and Siraj again bagged three crucial wickets. Despite Alick Athanaze’s gritty 38 and a few late blows from Jayden Seales, the visitors were dismissed for 146.

 

India’s all-round dominance was evident throughout the three days. Their bowling unit maintained discipline and variety, while the batters capitalized on every opportunity. The balance of experience and youth was visible, with contributions coming from across the lineup. For West Indies, there will be questions about their batting technique and inability to handle the Indian spinners on subcontinental pitches.
