For Afghanistan, Mujeeb Ur Rahman was the standout bowler with figures of 2 for 26, while Rashid Khan bowled economically, conceding just 13 runs in his four overs. However, the lack of penetration from the rest of the attack and poor execution in the death overs cost them dearly.

 

In the end, Bangladesh’s all-round strength and sharper execution made the difference.
