Notable among these is their 1992 World Cup encounter with England, where the rain-affected match ended in a tie under the Duckworth-Lewis method. In 2013, Pakistan experienced two tied ODIs within three months, first against Ireland in May and then against the West Indies in July.

Zimbabwe’s tied matches often feature dramatic moments. In November 2016, at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, they and the West Indies managed to turn the game into an unsolvable puzzle. Two years later, at the same venue, they were involved in another tied ODI against Bangladesh.
